Am I wasting my time in the military?
I retired from what I thought was a successful and rewarding military career in January. During my 22 years service won a wide range of experience and training maintenance and operation of some of the most advanced aircraft in the U.S. has to offer. To me managed, supervised and led organizations that were recognized for achieving top results and always won high performance evaluations. I took every educational opportunities and earned my MBA, before retiring. I network, implemented, called, informational interviews, attending conferences, all in vain. I've even had a I tell people that most employers do not want to hire me because I have too much experience and education. What gives! What more is needed to find decent work? Am I wasting my time in the military? I realize the situation of the economy, but obviously I'm doing something wrong. Any advice??
