what should I do………………..?
this morning I was taking a conference call from home because my kids are at home for spring break.
at one time, I shouted at my kids to stop fighting, and the phone wasn’t on mute, so of course everyone heard.
what do I do now? issue an apology? By email or do I have to approach each person who was at the meeting individually?
I’m so gd embarrassed.

Let it go and ALWAYS remember to put your phone on mute when you aren’t speaking. Once, you’ll be forgiven. More than that and you’re likely to get reprimanded by your associates. Just let it go and don’t worry about it. I’ve heard everything from toilets flushing to babies crying and dogs barking. No, it shouldn’t happen, but we are human.
