There is software that acts as a phone answering machine for multiple users?
I have a small business with five employees working from home so I would like to have a phone number that can then be directed to each of our mailboxes.
Sorta … Not necessarily "software" … but there is a very affordable service that "I" use … where you can configure everything for $ 50 per month. The company is called "OneBox." You can get a phone number (I think that can be transferred over an existing line as well … worst case, if you can not transfer your existing number along … divert all calls from your existing line for the new issue … and "OneBox" allows you to configure up to 5 mailboxes per issue. It is very impressive. You can type the text you want as your phone professionally recorded greeting and record it for you ("small" fee, but worth it) can upload an existing voice file (free), or simply type your text and a computer voice reads to you competent enough (free. .. and you can actually push a button and read that "in the field" so you can hear how it sounds at once) … including, press 1 for Jane Doe, press 2 for Janet Perez II, etc etc etc. I do not think this is associated with efax.com .. .. but both systems are incredibly efficient … I get the feedback from customers about how professional my whole system is time. I hope it works for you (Hint: call and speak w / representative to help set up voice mail extension right … once they are setup … efficient is held from that day … unless you want to forward your calls to your home / cell / office … then you can change these options with the frequency you want.)
